A working farm with a story to tell
Shady Spring Farm is a working cattle farm nestled in the Great Cove valley of Fulton County, Pennsylvania — some 130 acres home to a herd of about 200 Black Angus and Black Baldy beef cattle. The farm has been in the family for five generations, and today Barb and Tony Onorato welcome guests to share in its quiet beauty and remarkable history.
Stay in our lovingly restored 1880s Tenant House, walk the private lane past fields where history happened, and use the farm as your base for exploring south-central Pennsylvania — from Gettysburg battlefields to Buchanan State Forest.
