Built in the 1880s as a residence for the tenant farmer and his family, the quaint two story frame farmhouse sits atop a one story fieldstone foundation. The limestone and brownstone of the foundation remain exposed both inside and out. German architectural influence is apparent through the broad front porch and dual entrance doors; the kitchen door was intended for the family’s use while the parlor door was used to greet visitors and guests.
